Beautiful Elizabeth I period oak carved chest.

The four panel front with fine carved interlaced geometric designed panels being divided by inlaid styles with applied turned buttresses.

Above this a fine inlaid decorated frieze rail, and the lower rail carved with gulloche.

This chest is boarded with  only the front framed.

Rare collectors piece.

Origin East Anglia.
